Yes, I know, I've said this a lot, but despite your complaining, it doesn't seem I've said it enough. It hurts me very much when I'm told I'm male, and I have to deal with this enough offline, let alone here. It seems that no matter how many times I say it, some of the idiots here continuously call me male, and just wont even TRY considering my feelings, and accept that I am female. Seriously, if people don't stop being *crag*, I'm going to start reporting people for calling me a male, and hurting me. Yes, I know, it's something small over the internet, but it hurts me, so bad, that it actually makes me cry. That's right, I CRY because of this, and I'm tired of it. I'm tired of having to feel WRONG when I come here, just because some *crag* can't accept the fact that I AM FEMALE. *crag*, why are some people so rude, and unconsidered of others feelings? |

Because outside, people like you are discriminated. Outside, there are very few people who actually accepts people for who they are. You are very lucky to be here, because a lot of us (hopefully) accepts who you are. And I admit I'm actually one of them. |

Wrong, people are discriminated more on the internet.
Why?
Because they make the mistake of revealing details of their real lives.
Something I have never done and never intend to do.
In this way, I am invincible. |

No...I was only trying to help you feel better, looking aside facts. Although I wasn't lying when I said I accept who you are. |

Maybe you shouldn't let the assholes push you around and stand up for yourself, unlike I'm doing. Not just in real life, but here too. |

Yeah, I tried to talk to someone about that but they did as I predicted, and just posted this speech about their ideals, and I only wanted to say that we're not in your ideal future and this is the way things are now so it is a matter of respect to me where gender is concerned BECAUSE it is such a major issue in my life, so would you please consider that. But I couldn't really get through. It hardly made sense, but I was so upset I didn't want to make my full argument... maybe I should have. Anyway, that was in a trade of PM's.
Well, I'm sorry to say, but this just isn't a transgender support forum. The community in its entirety would rarely be so accepting... Digibutter's still one of the less accepting ones, however, among others. It could be worse, not that that is really comforting. Sorry. >>
It all comes down to the matter of respecting one another. Some just don't understand... some might even refuse to. But someone who knows how much this means to you should definitely treat you with respect on this matter. That's all it should come down to, really.
Well, those are just my thoughts. Some don't seem to like transgender issues coming up on their Digibuttz, but I thought I'd say something without really caring about that. |

People discriminate against you because they get annoyed when people go around saying "lol I'm a girl at heart lol." I've already told Cherry/Amber/Mitchell/What ever this, and everything.
In real life, people aren't as discriminated against, but that's most likely because the transgenders don't go around saying "lol I'm a girl at heart lol" to everyone they see, except for when they talk about it to their parents, and possibly close friends.
In short, it's not really your fault, yet it is your fault for telling the people you wanted to be female in the first place. I think that's why people are hating on you, at least.
...I'm trying to look at this at a neutral point-of-view, and not the point-of-view as your friend, just so you don't end up thinking that I hate you, and everything.
So, uh, yeah. I sort-of accept transgenders, though most of the time I'm 100% it's just a phase. You've convinced me how you feel, which is why I address you as a female most of the time.
It still doesn't mean I support transgenders, because I don't. It just pisses me off that people can't ever be happy with what they already have. :/
....Yeah. |

Example; I was under some misguided impression that I was a special case, that I could be loud and obnoxious about it, and have everyone be fine with it.
Not the case.
And it's not the case with you, either. One of the things you have to put up with is that people are going to call you male, whether it's out of disrespect, or just out of ignorance, it's going to happen, and that's just how things go. People are not forgiving, nor are they understanding, with some exceptions. Just like every other transsexual on the planet, you're going to have to go through Hell and high water to get to a level where you're comfortable.
You don't seem ready for that pain. So maybe, just maybe, you shouldn't be announcing it everywhere on a common basis. ´・ω・` |

Yeah, I've tried not to be loud and obnoxious about it, myself. I'd like to think I presented my main case a long time ago very peacefully (back in February I believe, of last year) - but I do not think that just talking about my transgenderism should be something to look down upon. It's a major issue in my life, so it's sometimes inevitable to be mentioned, ESPECIALLY in a 'blog forum' setting. I suppose I could see the ire some might have, however, if one goes around shouting or whatever about it everywhere else... there's really no need for that.
Tsuki, Cherry just made a good point. You need to be really ready if you're going to try living under your identity as a female in any way. You have to become good and strong so that you DON'T end up crying every night because there are people out there that don't understand or just plain don't like or support you... and this IS something you will face, pretty much... well... always. It's just too difficult to avoid, so it is best to develop strong coping measures. Try finding that strength.
I would also be happy with my current sex, but I'm not cisgendered, and I hardly chose this happily knowing the discrimination and cruelty I will be subject to face. But I will not go on any more on that; it is just a fact that almost anyone who has not experienced gender dysphoria has trouble understanding it.
This is no phase for me; I am fully sincere in my feelings after much soul-searching, and I have already started HRT, aka Hormone Replacement Therapy, as of the 27th of February this year. I'm on a very real and very serious road called 'transitioning'. Maybe you will be following this path too, Tsuki... maybe not. I just want you to be very aware that this isn't easy at all, nor will it ever be... |

The "it hurts my feelings" or "it is important to me" argument isn't strong, considering that one can just as easily hurt a religious person's feelings by acknowledging that evolution exists. I've seen the "appeal to emotion" argument used multiple times before, and it is really nothing more than a cop out.
I can respect you as a person, but I don't agree with your position on gender. I find that the idea of "gender identity" is as much of a delusion as one believing that one can "talk to God" or that the "earth is flat." This doesn't mean I'm one of those "ignorant LGBT haters" like one of the individuals I've discussed this topic with before falsely compared me to. In all honesty, do whatever you want with your body and consider yourself whatever you want to consider yourself; I'm not going to argue for people like you to be treated differently based upon your personal beliefs. However, that doesn't mean you should expect someone to agree with your opinion just because your feelings might be hurt.
If you want to know more on why I believe this, you can look to the other posts I've made here before. |

Well, I'll just admit that it was Cid I was talking to. I was upset because I got the impression that he was being very arrogant in the way he had made his argument ('I hope someday you can evolve like all of humankind to the higher point where gender doesn't matter' - something quite to this effect) - I perceived it as insulting, Cid, like you think you are ahead of the curve and above lots of other people.
Sorry to bring it a little off-topic, but I'm just taking this one opportunity to try and close this matter... I'm really sorry, Cid. I WAS having a bad day. Sometimes things can hurt even when you say them with a smile and with good grammar and wording, trying to be polite. But anyway, I think it'd be a nice idea to put this behind me for good while I'm here... is that fair?
And to be clear, I've never labeled you as an ignorant LGBTQ hater, and if I came off that way, I didn't mean to. I don't want to paint you as a villain, I just wanted to relate how and why I was upset when I made the post. |

It was more along the lines of how I would be contradicting myself if I didn't hold true to my philosophy that humans should try to avoid labels that limit individuality. Was it this part of my message?
"With that said, I cannot continue to view the concept of "gender" as a a negative aspect introduced to humanity because of old traditions and cultures and still refer to you as what you want me to refer to you as. I will not be a hypocrite, and I will continue to believe that humans should strive to become beings devoid of labels such as "gender," and to reach ultimate individuality."
Personally, I don't see it as any more arrogant than believing that the concept of "race" or large, organized religions should be eliminated. But I apologize if it did come off as arrogant.

I wasn't trying to revive the discussion I had with you, as I saw that it was already finished, but I guess I wasn't vague enough with my post.
So, yeah, let's put it in the past. That's fair.

I can understand why you're upset, and even though I don't agree with your opinion, I won't make any posts (Or, try to the best of my abillities not to) that could potentially start up "fights" like that one in our PMs.
