I realized not too long ago that I really like to dance. For a while I wasn't into any particular style, but for the last few days I've been practicing staff spinning. Kind of like this video, but obviously I'm nowhere near as good as this guy, since I've been at it for less than a week:


I like it more than anything else I've tried so far. Every day for half an hour or so, I grab my 5-foot metal broom handle, put on my headphones and get lost in the music and... spinny-ness. Until I'm too tired to move. Feels *crag* great.

I was just curious to see how many people here like dancing.

I can do a little of waltz, ballroom, and I can do a little of that one kind of dance where you occasionaly twirl her with your finger and let her glide to the floor.

I only dance when I'm alone. And by dance I mean "I tap my feet, maybe sway from side to side, and rarely walk to the beat".

I can jive too, but that's my school's fault. :C Forced units ftl, but the jive was sort of fun I guess. :) There's this weird octopus move where your arms are moving all over the place and yeah.

Anyway, we had to learn dancing in gym which was sort of okay. We learned the Electric Slide, polka, Cha Cha Slide, and the waltz.
