As we have seen in the past and in the debatable speeches of Parabuzzy King and Razerave there are individuals who believe that life has no value at all. I post here to start a discussion of this not pushed by flame like the former two.

MY OPINION:

xD, I was just laughing after reading Yaranaikachu's quote:

(I actually read a lill bit too, but crazy German dude is too cynical a comment)

Anyway, as Hedgier had said, humans consume the earth and treat it as a product/asset that should be consumed, processed or traded. However my point is...

Why should we care? If we do not have to face the consequences of our actions in our lifetime? Why should I care of other individuals. Meaning that I have the same obtuse and egotistic perspective as most individuals:

No life has value other than my own and life that concerns me.

Ok, this is a different topic in three of four dimensions.

ALSO: Using ur logic, why the hell would you care about a rock (Earth) if you dont even care about yourself? Humans are so stupid and one sided, trualy worthless I admit, at least I have the ability to admit it! The olny reason I continue to live is for the posatives in my life, wich I truly do not care for that much. Now contrast my theory with this info to see my perspective on life!

I'll go with my usual logic. Logically, this philosophy is self-destructing and pulls itself down.

Ethically, we care about the survival of our race, don't we ? You don't want to die, and you don't want the people you know to die. When you have children, you won't want them to die. And so on. However, today's abstract concepts and methods are too high for poor old survival instinct, which is why we don't erupt in terror when we drive to the grocery store two blocks away with a hummer.

It's a contract between generations. Care about them, and they'll care about you. We do not have the right to abuse the planet and then have our successors pay the bill. That is jackassery of the highest degree.

As a poster showing the earth said: "The object of rent is to be treated with care and to be returned in good shape."

My opinion. You may disagree.

And TCH... I do not seek anything much of this world. I have been called here by forces beyond my control, and now strive to make my time worthwhile for not only myself, but all of my kin. I wish to study, to help, and maybe make the world a better place in a thousand immeasurable little ways.

That is my philosophy. That is my creed.
