"Now, who's first?"

[Black Yoshi]

Just like that, the dome of water burst into vapor. There stood the outlined figure, now in full view. It resembled a collosal River Drake composed entirely of water, with armor-like ice sheets covering most of the creature's body. With one more roar and a stomp of one of it's massive feet, a near-freezing downpour erupted seemingly out of nowhere.

Let's hurry up and beat this thing... if it plans on keeping up this rain, we'll all succumb to hypothermia in no time.

[Zeromus/Terrus]

"Oh, right, humans get diseases. Lucky for me, I don't get sick."

[Zetta/Alexander]

"We? I'm not human, you know. You want it done the fast way, or slightly slower, more fun way?"

[Ultimario]

Dark Ultimario put up his red forcefield, and also prepared to teleport just in case. If it was already attacking everyone with rain, it probably wasn't the sort to be selective with its targets.

"Sort of a slowly damaging attack, then? Well, we might as well get a fast start on things, then."

Ultimario charged up for a bit, and then used Ultima on the monster. Generic elementless giant beam attack of massive damage, of course it used up a ton of his MP. It was also really hard to dodge/block.

[Black Yoshi]

The attacks impacted on target, but the giant ice creature didn't seem too staggered by the blow. Instead, it reared back on it's hind legs and stomped down, unleashed a powerful surge of freezing air at the group.

Take cover!

Paxton conjured up a fiery barrier with his Zodiac Staff, which he and the Guild Officers took cover behind.

[Zetta/Alexander]

Alexander held out his sword, and as the freezing dust touched it, he was engulfed in a spherical shield, consisting of that same, holy energy.

"This is taking more energy than I thought..."

[Ultimario]

Ultimario went behind the barrier as well.

"Dammit. Well, judging from the ice-like armor and the icy attacks, this is more ice-based than I thought. Fire might actually be a good idea at this point."

He threw two fireballs at the monster experimentally. He'd throw more, but keeping cover behind the fiery barrior while taking care to shoot fireballs that don't just get added to it tends to discourage rapid fire.

[Zeromus/Terrus]

"Take too much longer, and I'll just call up the fires of Hell to finish this." He seemed unphased by the ice attack.

[Black Yoshi]

Now, attack!

Rather than dispelling the barrier, Paxton sent it flying right into the icy Drake, causing it to roar in pain as it's ice plates were slightly cracked and melted. This was followed up by a barrage of fiery arrows from Blue Yoshi, and a blazing Spear throw from Lord. In retribution, the creature reared up on it's hind legs and began to let loose a stream of blast mist. The glittering black mist began to flood over the entire area, completely obscuring any visibility.

This can't be... it's using Tormentshard Grave... Black's most lethal Water Magic technique. Everyone, get as low as possible! You don't want to take the full force of this attack!

Paxton and the rest of the Brotherhood hit the deck, laying as low as possible to the ground as they could.

[Ultimario]

Ultimario hit the deck, also covering himself with Ultima Sword due to its extremely durable material. His hand holding the sword would still take damage from the attack, but better that than his shoulders and his head.

[Spiny]

*Seeing as he was merely a presence, you would think he would just stand there for this attack and take the damage knowing he'd be okay, just like with the last attack.
However, he actually showed suspicious concern,stabbing a large sword into the ground, and hiding behind it like a wall.*

[Lord Vaati]

The gem on Vaati's cap began to flash as a strange barrier appeared around him.

The barrier would decrease all damage done to Vaati to a small amount.

[Zeromus/Terrus]

Zeromus sighed. "Almost time to end this game..." he muttered.

[Black Yoshi]

After a short time of hovering ominously in the air, the attack took a violent turn all at once. The black mist instantly crystallized into enormous, jagged shards of shimmering black ice. Anyone unfortunate enough to still be standing would likely be impaled with the cursed shards multiple times... and even those on the ground weren't completely safe. The jagged ends grazed and slashed every single Brotherhood member present, even shredding off parts of their armor.
