Norway could be considered one of the most green countries in the world due to its limits on fossil fuel usage. It has some of the most well established programs on producing alternative engergies and cleaning the natural enviorment. Also due to its geographic location it has access to many forms of alternative energy, be it geothermal or wind. But what people seem to be missing about the greenest place on earth is one very unknown law. The law that Norweigan companies have to limit the amount of manufacturing facilites in the borders of Norway. With this the Norweigan companies are building out of the country in places like the middle east and asia. Those factories dont adhere to any of Norways Carbon Tax policies letting them produce very dirty goods. So is Norway really the greenest country on earth if its companies are destroying the ozone? |
