This is a horrifying story.
So I was thinking of getting on Etrade to let a few of my dollars have babies for me to spend.
Now I know what you're thinking, stocks got us Mericans into all this '08 '09 crisis (and the rest of you guys too, oopsie) so why would I go messin around with and of that toxic mess? Well, guess who's made of recession-proof entertainment and ignores the economy that's fake anyway!?
NINTENDO!
Even though Japan's Nikke has been falling like a Spiny thrown by a Lakitu over a bottomless pit, Nintendo hooked up with that HARLET of a corporation, Apple, and the i-GameBoy is coming out in a few months. Sure for a bounceback.
But there's one reason I'm stone scared to buy stock. Click this link, look at the daily gain for 3-10-09. I'm no numerology fanboi but come on, this is Nintendo.

So what if Nintendo is doing good with their stocks? That just shows that they know how to be successful in a failing economy. Just because we're hitting a bust right now doesn't mean that everyone has to fall in stock.
Also, The DS is not a gameboy. It is a DS. The Gameboy days ended with the GBA Micro. |

Not even near it, but if things continue down this path, Nintendo should be able to buy out most of the world's companies in... approximately... one hundred-four hundred years, give or take a decade. |

Sorry, but I didn't know people still called DSs Game Boys. And the whole Apple thing. Like, I didn't even get that at all.
However, I'll agree that Nintendo is doing well in this economy. I congratulate them, but it's also expected. There are 5 things that humans need nowadays:
Food, water, clothing, shelter and entertainment. Nintendo entertains. |

And Apples not so bad. Not a fan of their computers, and I don't like how the iPhone only works on one network, but their not too bad. |

Eh, stock trading is fairly simple, really. It's kinda like investing. The reason people lose so much money, is because they pull their stocks out while their loss is on paper only.
Anyways, the reason they're probably afloat is because of careful management. And frankly enough, while I personally dislike Nintendo's current generation of console gaming, it serves them as a great money-maker. That probably explains why their stocks aren't falling, unlike other gaming companies like Square Enix, Microsoft or Sony. |
