The blob hissed again, and soon darkened all the way to black. The other blobs proceeded to circle around it; firing their spikes at everyone in the room. |

The spikes that entered Ignis's Ward exploded into ashes before they could reach him.

Ignis tossed a handful of strawberries right at the blob-thing's mouth. |

The blob-monster fired it's spikes at the strawberries, impaling them right through the middle. It hissed again, and proceeded to melt into the floor. The other smaller blobs continued to advance towards the group. |

Ignis tossed the bag of strawberries back to Aita, then turned towards the advancing blobs.
Think you're pissed now? I've got much worse in store for you! Fyel Oress - Thermal Crash!
With a snap of fingers, the heat in the air around the blobs began to drain away at a very rapid pace, then flow towards Ignis's now-outstretched palm in a stream of visible, wavering distortion. |
