It was illegal in the United States long before it was made illegal here.
Myself, I'm a firm believer in that drawn porn in all forms is a visual representation of a sexual fantasy. It's the only way that a lot of people can get out the (let's call them urges) that they have without causing some kind of serious problem. Things like bestiality and child molestation aren't amplified by the people viewing hentai depicting that kind of activity, but it subdues the urges and complications that come in a real-life situation.
This is no different. The viewing of lolicon does not increase the chances of molesting a child in the grand majority of viewers, and those who may inflict sexual harm on a child because they thought it was okay because they saw it in a porn cartoon is stupid anyway and deserves to be locked up for it. |
Actually its not treated as severly in america, its something like indecency and youd get the same punishment as running around naked. But in Canada its possesion of CP |
