I can really understand Tyler. When you make a complicated character, it takes a lot longer to make.

And besides, with top hats, who needs clothes?

Is that Tyler's?

I thought that was fan art someone made for his game.

Or maybe I'm thinking of another picture.

ALSO YEAH

Tyler is an animator first, not a traditional artist.

Drawing complex characters makes them almost impossible to animate by yourself unless you want to spend months/years on a few minutes of animation.

WHICH, can be a good thing. But let's face it, no one really wants to do that.

Anime.

Then again, the Japanese have no life. So I guess they're an exception.

That isn't one *crag* person.

That's a workshop full of Korean children.

Yes.
And don't forget the Japanese adults, and the subtitlers five thousand miles away trying to get the subtitles up by the day after the episode it released.

Animation calls for simplicity. At least when it's involving a single person. Multiple people can accomplish more complicated cartoons, but when you're a solo animator, simple = good.

Trust me on this. I'm the same way.
