Hey guys, my coloring is really bad, and I needed some advice/critque.

I quick doodled a little Francis to showcase it :3
Also, please ignore the anatomy...I know it's frightful, I just wanted to show the coloring so I wasn't focused on shape.

Hmmm, this is pretty good.

As for crits... I think you should try lowering the opacity/alpha on your colours a bit to make them blend a bit better. Also, with areas like the mouth, add more transitional colours so it doesn't look like there's a dark line just sitting there.

I do like your choice in colours, though.

Very distinct. It actually seems like it would belong in a museum.
Lips are normally orange, but it doesn't stand out too much to take away from it.

Abstract: Thanks. I usually work with about 50% oppacity, do you think bringing it to 30% would help fix it up a bit?

Spiny: Thank you~

Yeah, 30% would probably be good. 50 is a little high, imo, unless your colours are really similar.

Awesome. That's all I have to say since I kinda suck at coloring that kind of stuff.

I agree with everyone else that it looks great, although, in my opinion, he looks a little too... 'shiny'. I would suggest trying not to have the difference between light and dark a little less obvious.

Although I'm no artist, so I have no idea how to achieve this, lol.

Lowering my oppacity, and not using so much color dodge would probably do it.

Hey, that's pretty nice! I'm not exactly used to seeing his lips as anything other than orange, but it's good!

Lots of what I think has been said. I shade with 10% opacity, but I don't know if that you're style.

One thing I would says is don't highlight with the super saturated colours, it makes things a little hard to look at. >:
