More color experimenting. Doodled Paper Mario characters. Critique welcomed. (but please don't focus on anatomy, I'm seeking color crit.) |

Er, a black background wasn't really the smartest move. It would be more clear with a white background, but whatever. The color doesn't really blend together. Plus, the anatomy looks good to me. 3:|════׀ |

Yeah, the black was a slip-up, I started out with it, tried to revert it to white- I made the rest of the picture slip lighter because of the oppacity, and I was too lazy to fix it. |

I don't suggest shading with colours that are just the darker version of the base. It makes the drawing look plan and boring. Also saturated highlighting still bothers me. :( |

I like it a lot, actually. The black background is epic. It looks like a chalkboard drawing. Very Yoshi's Island/Yoshi's Story-ish! |

Haha, thank you! Seems like most people don't like the black, though |

Haha, thank you! Seems like most people don't like the black, though | It's unique as hell. I'd say stick with it, in my honest opinion. Not many people work with a black "canvas". |
