The site says it should automatically download the content to you if your Wii is in standby mode, and you have AC:CF's wiiconnect24 activated.
Both of these are true, but I never got an event item. :<

The Wiiconnect24 option won't appear on my phone, even though I have it on. Am I doing something wrong? :?
