I went and caught an Unown, but he isn't doing anything other then say he wants to race me, seeing if he can dig the tunnel before I catch an unown. .-. |

Well I only caught like, two.

At D/P at least, you need to catch every single kind of Unown, except for the "!" and the "?" ones.
Then he'll find the chamber where they live.

Although I do remember only needing to catch one, but that may just be my memory failing me. |
