How do you feel about it? Do you do it, and if so, what do you prefer to smoke?

The only thing I've done more than once is weed. I stay away from tobacco, mainly because I don't want to get hooked on it. I've tried catnip too, which doesn't get you high, but it's relaxing and tastes nice. Kinda minty.
When I have some money, I'm planning on buying a hookah and some herbal shisha. Regular shisha has tobacco in it, so that's a no-go. Hookah is less damaging to your lungs/throat, since the smoke passes through water which cools it down before it gets to you. If I'm going to smoke, I might as well do it in a way that's not quite as bad for me.
I could just get a bong and have the same effect, but... a bong is just a bong, while a hookah is an art piece. Someone sees a bong on your shelf, they think, "That guy's a pothead." They see a hookah on your shelf, they think, "Now there's a pothead with some class."

I know there are fancy-looking glass sculpture bongs too, hush.

My mother and father both smoke tobacco. Everyone thinks I smoke because my dad is pretty much a chain smoker, and the smell gets all over me. The stuff gives me terrible headaches, and I'd personally never touch it.

As for marijuana, I don't plan on ever smoking it either, as it's had negative effects on almost everyone I know who's used it. Most of my friends, and their parents, smoke the stuff.

I really don't care if someone smokes, 'cause, you know, it's not my problem. I do get annoyed when people are smoking around me, talking about it nonstop, or trying to shove it down my throat.

I really, really hate being around people when they're baked, though.

I don't think I'll ever smoke. My mom used to smoke, and I hated it. Even though she never smoked in the house, I still got headaches and I'd cough because of it all of the time, which I hated. She was finally able to quit a few years back, but her lungs won't be normal again for another 5 years or so.

But, yeah. I love bowling, but I can't go to the bowling alley because people smoke there all the time. I'm extremely sensitive to smoke (I swear to god I feel like I'm about to pass out and die when I'm around smokers), and I hate it, hate it, hate it.

I smoke cigarettes. 5-15 on a daily basis, and it seriously pisses off my parents.

Smoking = Shorter Life. I prefer to be healthy and live to see more. Although I get the feeling I will die young..

My grandfather died of lung cancer because he smoked. I never met him. My parents were heavy smokers before they had me, but after that, they immediately quit. My mom smoked sometimes during the past couple of years when times were difficult. I was kinda upset with her and really concerned, but it was her decision to do so. I'm relieved she's not doing it now.

I dislike it, and seriously, I don't see the point. If you want to get addicted to nicotine (which, by the way, is quite a deadly toxin - about 1 mg per kg of body weight is deadly for an adult human - and cigarettes contain little nicotine and lots of stuff lungs weren't supposed to have.

It's smoke; I don't see people lighting fire in barrels and sucking on that. The stimulating effects of nicotine are there in moderation, but since you get all those nice other molecules in cigarettes, you'll be poisoned along it.

I try to avoid smoke, and won't smoke myself.

Especially stupid ? I worked in asocial shopping mall for school once, and many of the... financially disadvantaged people there smoked. Sure, it kills the hunger, but it's addictive, and the health costs will be there, not to mention that you'll pay way more for cigarettes.

As for things like weed, I was always kinda curious about it, wanted to try it a few times, but a group of potheads were smoking weed directly in front of me at an Aussie Pink Floyd concert, and the contact high resulted in one of the most terrible headaches I've ever experienced, so I just stay away from the stuff.

Side note, I plan to "smoke" cigarette-looking tubes with nicotine-like ends just for the look later on in life, no actual chemicals or anything -- it's really hot on some people.

I'd probably like weed if it weren't for the pulsing headache, the smell was soothing and it was really calming... and then the pulsing hit and it wasn't so nice.

I've always wondered how smoking is addicting. When my dad smokes, the smell is TERRIBLE. I hate it so much. And smoking is bad for you. So I don't know why people would smoke other then be cool.
