It's about time now for Sony and Nintendo to announce new handhelds at this year's E3. What are you're predictions? I think that the new psp2 will look exactly like the old one except have two good quality analog sticks, not little nubs, and have xbox or wii equivalent graphics. It will probably cost around $300-400. Nintendo's new handheld, if they even announce one this E3 will look similar to either the original GBA or GBASP, but have widescreen and psp equivalent or better graphics. Nintendo will probably stay with the touch screen and keep all the features of the DSI, but only have one screen. I'm guessing it would cost anywhere from $150-250 What are your predictions? |

At the rate the DS is selling, and the soon-to-be released DSi, I doubt Nintendo will announce a new handheld any time soon. |

Well what will push them to a new release is the competition of the PSP2, which I can guarantee is going to be announced at E3. Also there were 3 iterations of the GBA as well, one after the DS was out even. I think they'll release one in the next 1-2 years but keep making DS games for a while. |

The DS was already out when they announced the micro... Anyway the topic isn't whether or not they will announce a handheld soon or not, it's what you think the new handhelds will be like! |

And Sony just released the ps2 slim when the ps3 was announced... Nintendo probably won't announce anything new. But I can guarantee Sony will announce something this E3. Developers are already saying that they've been developing for it, and there have been several rumors of the PSP2 already within the industry. This is usually a good indicator that there is going to be an official announcement soon. If you guys don't believe me just wait, you'll see. Oh and can we get back on topic guys, no one has even answered the questions yet. |
