April 19th, I'll be 20. :3 One more year!
Anyway, I found out some cool things today.
1) This Dutch bakery that sells cakes sells them by 1/8ths, 1/4ths, 1/2ths, and by the whole. I got a fourth of a whole Red Velvet cake for $4.50!
2) A movie, music, and game store near city hall is having this big event this Sunday. Lots of potentially good deals on games, chances to win $100 giftcards, Street Fighter 4 and Rockband tournaments, and something about video game films. It hints at more things, but I am not sure... Last time I went to a massive event, it was a Harry Potter Book 7 thing in New York and it was generally lame.
3) The game store within easy walking distance of the college is having a Buy 2 get 1 Free Used Game deal on portables.
4) My brother might like this: The same game store is selling Prinny for $32. The Persona game he's interested in is going for $50, but this might tide him over till he can find it cheaper.
In other news, I got Megaman Powered Up (long time waiting, but I kept putting it off due to no PSP and then waiting to see if I could get a good deal on MMPU and MMX:Maverick Hunters).
So today was pretty much cake, games, and walking. |
