She gave me a call a few minutes ago about her recent ordeal and told me to post it here. She competed in a Rock Band tournament with three other people (she ended up winning a hat) and she's currently shopping around for sweets and (possibly) cake.
She'll be back on the site in a few hours. |

Not entirely so.
I almost competed in the Rock Band tournament, but due to the fact that I needed two other people, I joined the Street Fighter tournament.
I almost got in the top three, but my opponent did a turnabout and went from 2:0 to 2:3. The last fight was close, but in the end I walked away with just a Hitman t-shirt.
I got no sweets or cake, but I did get lunch, Fables volume 3, and Megaman X: Maverick Hunter, Jade Empire: Limited Edition, and a Legend of Zelda baseball cap. |

Well... it was kinda hard trying to understand what you were saying while you were walking around. All I mostly heard was the loud city street. |

Heh... ^-^; Yeah.
Well, it would had been lucky if they had that game at the other branch of that store, so I could get the 20% off deal, but no... >_<; Well, at least I got them. |

I tried Rock Band in the wait before the tournaments started. It was rather fun, but I kept screwing up on the bass when I mistook my chords for my brother's.
But the shirt was the general "Thanks for playing" gift. |
