Cursed demon taking the sane
Thrashing, writhing, the son of all pain

You have awaken to a flesh-and-blood nightmare.
Awaken to your nightmare!
No lust in the young girls loins
Innocence divine
But a look into her cursed eyes
Sends a chilling up your spine -- paranoia.
She stands beside her bed now
Restlessness and spite
To sleep and fall into his hands
Would doom her very life -- it's just a phase.
It's just a phase, just a phase, a phase, phase...
Cursed demon taking the poor
Ripping and tearing, he arrives at your door
Don't open your soul, or you will find
You opened it to a mind-and-soul nightmare.
Awaken to your nightmare!
She stands over the table now
Emptiness in her eyes
She raises the knife above her head
and cuts.
Deep.

Cursed demon killing the young
Close your soul and hold your tongue
Don't drop your guard or you will find
You will die in your flesh-and-blood nightmare.

That's the scene that played out in my head after reading this poem. In other words, I love it. Plenty of imagery...and I want to say this is also has apostrophe but eh, I dunno. I just like it for some reason. |
