How am I not surprised about your reaction Tyler though by now you are predictable.
And let me tell you there are games that have altered sprites.
Remember the form Vaati takes near the end of Minish Cap.
The one with with the long arms that resembles a boss from "The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening." |

I'm beginning to regret ever going here.
Cause when I try to do something creative things just hit the fan.
And no one says anything about Chaos-Stev-O sprites when he posts them here.
Yet when I try to be creative things just go horrible.
perhaps I should just stop trying cause no matter what I try to make people just try to make me give up something I like doing.
In fact I rather have my posts be ignored now.
Heck over at Zelda Infinite they don't care if it is an altered sprite. |

stev-0 doesn't edit sprites anymore, as far as I know. i'm pretty sure he makes his own.
try making your own damn sprites instead of whining about how people don't like the fact that you edited an already existing sprite made by someone at Nintendo. it's just like taking someone else's art and changing the colors in photoshop and saying it's my own. people would be pissed at me if i did that. it's okay if you make some good sprite edits (what i mean by good is not just simple recolors and shit) every once in a while, but not all the *crag* time. you learn nothing from doing that. |

You could say I don't get much inspiration that can be used with making sprites.
I tend to use sprites as a base then edit a few parts a little at a time until the sprite looks nothing like the base it started as.
It's like Marker Magikoopa does when he makes sprites.
He uses a sprite as a base and makes a completely different sprite out of it.
And I think I'll just take a few days away from here since I feel like I might be acting a little too crazy.
Plus it would give me time to get back to work on the sprites that are not finished. |
