It would be nice if Religion could be integrated with science, but at this time, there is no way to prove the existence of a god... If science could prove or disprove the existence of a god, do you honestly think the people whose beliefs don't correlate with what is discovered would buy it? People are too stubborn.

These are all good ideas, but kind of naive ideas at the same time...

Also, organized religion is a societal toxin.

People don't change in a day.

Look how long it has taken people to come to grips with evolution, and still some do not.

Besides, sciences has proven some aspects of religion to a degree.

I didn't mention any specific sec.

There are people of all secs of religious belief that think the bible is literal.
Or any religion with any holy book for that matter.

Although I've never met an extreme Buddhist.

That's because Buddhism doesn't have a "holy book", nor does it have anything to do with spirituality or belief in a higher power at all.
A few years ago, I thought science was absolute and all religion was bullshit until I realized just how little I actually knew. The fact that the universe even exists denies logic and common sense- if everything had to come from something, there would be nothing. Really, I don't know how the universe came to be, and I never will. I also used to think Socrates was an idiot, but you know... ФֻФ

The thing is that Scientist will always say "It is possible." even if the data shows a ridiculous chance of something occurring.

It's like these idiots that say aliens may have helped man evolved.

If you take all the numbers into account and are looking at it from a pure scientific stand-point, you have to realize how ludicrous it is for life to have even formed in the first place, let alone became intelligent.

If you accept that than you also have to accept that there is most likely no other life in the universe, or if there is they are certainly not much more advanced than we are.

Technically ANYTHING is possible.

The possibility of lots of those things to reach us are just very, very, very slim. Considering the size of the universe.

"I simply must get through!"
"Sorry, you're much too big. Simply impassible."
"You mean impossible?"
"No, impassible. Nothing's impossible."

Bitch, what now?

Nothing is absolutely possible, at least as far as the physical realm goes, due to the abundant of natural laws and absolute truths.

For instance, nothing can move faster than the speed of light.

Or, to be more philosophical, a rock cannot be a rock.

There still, however, is much that we don't know about the universe so in a sense you are correct.

It's a little side tracked, but I've always wondered this: is it possible to reach absolute 0? We've talked about what happens when it's reached in school and stuff, but can it physically happen? Since, you know, EVERYTHING stops when it's reached.

It's gonna happen. And everyone is going to freeze, like in that one movie. And when the temperature goes back up, people are going to unfreeze and be like, "... What the hell just happened?"
