It's this reason why I ALWAYS ask to get a game that's wrapped in its original packaging. That shit that they do when they claim it to be "the last copy" and seal the package with a sticker...
Well, I don't trust that for a *crag* second.
ALWAYS, ALWAYS ask for the game in its original, tight plastic wrapping.
ALWAYS. |

That doesn't guarantee a new copy. Though I did once sell an unplayed game of MySims there for a dirt cheap price. I had never once opened even the plastic on it. The case was perfectly new. |

The shrink-wrapped copies are all unplayed. You can tell by the way the wrapping sticks to the "hinge" area of the game case (at least with DS games). |

People at my Gamestop are awesome so I don't have to worry about this shit.
Just drop a reserve or two and they'll change their tune.
That's all you gotta do to get whatever you want outta them. |

Well, If you want a game that's brand new, and has all the original items of packaging, then I suggest you go to ebay, and get the games there! |

That's probably the worst thing you could possibly do. |

I read something similar, but it was about doctors installing used pacemakers, and it's very old. |

One of my friends who works at Gamestop told me about how her manager is only letting them take out the used games now. |

I'm sorry, but what is so bad about it ? Is it the five bucks, the chance for Average Joe to *crag* up your disc and warranty or the traces of wank on your beloved BioShock ?
But anyway, who likes being decevied by tits in a store ? |

I recently bought a copy of Mega Man Star Force 2 from them for full price, and it was marked as unused.
I open the game, select the Ninja version from the title screen, and there's a game completion mark on it.
EB Games Bastards. Not even the Canadian version of the store is free from this practice. |

No, I only found that out after I saw this topic and checked it. I started a Zerker file long before I even clicked on Ninja.
I'm way too tired to do something about it today, anyways. |
