Today was an oddling of a day. It consisted of me waking up from a weird dream, going to school looking forward to tomorrow where I'll have no classes, and me encountering a couple of nuisances after school. I guess I'll go in chronological order, and besides, the dream is the best part ...
It starts with my mother, my sister, and myself in the car, driving to what seems like nowhere in particular. We pass my sister's school, which somehow provokes my mom to ask, "So did Ryan move into town yet?" I tell her yes and that he attends the public high school, and my sister adds that she sees him around her school a lot. Supposingly we were going to church, because my sister and I wind up in the lobby of St. Michael's, where there's a woman on the ground serving ice cream. She hands a cone to my sister but ignores me, and I completely brush it off, even though I knew that I really wanted some.
We can't get into the actual church, since there's massive gap in the ground that separated the lobby from it. Pews were set up in the lobby, and when I shuffle into one, I feel my feet dangling below me. So the pews were set up floating on air. That isn't weird or anything. A few moments later, I have to use the bathroom. I get up, completely okay with walking on no surface, and head into a room in the back. I walk into a hotel-like set up, where my aunt was in the bedroom area of the room. When I go into a bathroom, it's dusty and there's Daddy Longlegs everywhere, and I freak out and run away.
I'm able to make it into church, since within the few moments I've been away from mass, the hole was repaired. I walk into a wedding, where this princess (who I later discover is Snow White) and her prince are getting married. When they exchange vows, a rainbow forms above them. Then somehow I'm able to look into Snow White's future, where she receives a happy life with her happy husband in a happy house ... all because she recycles. Then Sleeping Beauty and her prince are getting married, and her prince seems more like a jerk than charming ...
And so I wake up to my mother's wonderful voice that shatters my dreams at 5:30 every Monday to Friday morning. Sigh.
I didn't do anything interesting in school today; I daydreamed throughout all my classes and was completely stoked for tomorrow, where I won't be going to school because of the field trip (possibly Battle of the Bands as well.)
After school, I was dropped off at LHS by the bus, where I expected the mother of the children I babysit to pick me up, like she does every Thursday. I call her after a few moments of waiting, since she only lives up the road, and she then tells me that I didn't have to babysit today because her older son is practicing for Communion and she took the day off. Gee, thanks for reminding me, lady. I had to walk home from the opposite side of town. At least the weather was nice ...
This concludes my day with fries and a Frosty from Wendy's that my mom got while at my sister's game. Stay shitty, digibutter. |
