In my English class, we're reading one of the shittiest book in the world.
Ever heard of Lord of the Flies? Its about little pedo boys stuck in an island who are gay for each other simply because there are no girls in this book.
Its not original. Its retarded. And I even heard the movie is worse, and I can't imagine anything more worse than this book.
Part of the reason I don't read books is because I'm lazy to actually read, and the fact that we don't read anything interesting in my English class.
I just wanted to get this out of my head. Now I have to work these questions, brb Sparknotes.
Anyways, how about you guys? Does your English class make you read books thats not worth reading? |

Yeah only like everyday, she reads them outloud in class and we have to pay attention. Right now ere reading some shit ass book called "Night" where some bible-humping jew gets sent to a concentration camp and he gets scarred for life and turns atheist and the entire book makes the whole holocaust look pussyish which in a way I always thought it was and I giggle everytime something gruesome happens. Also the best line in the book is "The soups tasted like corpses!" is which I laughed hysterically. |

Yep, we've studied/studying Lord of the Flies too. Although it is kinda boring to read, I find that the messages, morals, etc. in this book (and others you study in English) can be quite interesting. On the other hand, I don't wanna write 9001 similar essays on what the conch is a symbol for. :\
I guess it just depends how the teacher presents these ideas. |

haha I read the Mockingbird last year. Don't remember much of it though because last year I slept a lot in class.
