Craaap.
I realized a couple hours ago that I had yet to write the 4-5 page essay for my art history class which is due on Monday.
I have to write about a painting I already selected way back when we went to the art museum and something I can compare it with in the textbook. The painting is no problem, as I chose Prometheus Bound, a massive painting depicting Prometheus, who is chained to a mountain, getting his liver wrenched out by a very large predatory bird. That alone I managed to get to take up a single page on the premise of the myth and brief versions of the artists' information.
The problem is that I have no idea what painting to compare with it in my book. I can't find anything else on that level... In theory I could take up 2 pages devoted to describing the styles and content of the respective artwork, but the third would be a direct compare/contrast with a conclusion.

You have let yourself be prey to the monster that is American education.
Fight it! Do not become devoured like countless others like my father have! |

I can get this done, but I am having trouble finding a painting to compare and contrast it with. Preferably it would be in the Baroque style, but I need a similar theme... |

I don't know that much on all those paintings, now, while I would say something about what you could compare it too, if it's limited to the book, I really can't say. |

I don't think so. That was a pdf file. The file on the site I needed to read the instructions from was a doc file.
In any case, I managed to get it done just in time. :3 |

Reminds me of the day when we had an english oral, and I didn't know. We had to talk professionally about newspapers. There was another group in front of me for like a minute, and I pulled a roleplay out of my ass.
The teacher never noticed. The ability to be able to make coherent shit up quickly and be ready to talk your way out of it when you're caught is priceless. Priceless, I say. Helped me every time. |
