that happened to me at the warrior training place
some bitch kept one-shotting stumps with spike balls before i could get to them ):< |

I had a magician that mainly used melee, with magic used to cause damage faster.
I also had a habit of attacking monsters that had rediculously high defense for the level I was on. |
