I almost feel suicidal right now....I'm not kidding. I was already feeling kind of bad before this but i just found out that I'm failing health and math and I might have to go to summer school, and I guess that was just the last straw for me....I don't know what to do anymore, school doesn't feel like school anymore, it feels like prison. I've been working so hard in math but yet i still fail. I can't succeed in anything I do...maybe I was just born to be a failure. maybe i should just accept the fact that i have no reason to live and i would be better off dead.

...of course you guys are probably just going to make fun of me and yell at me and shit. no one wants to listen anymore.

oh yeah, and just so you know, i don't cut my wrists or black my eyes or any of that stereotypical emo shit. i swear to god if anyone brings that up to me in this topic i will just lose my sanity completely. if you're not going to respect me, then don't even bother posting. all i want is someone to talk to that understands.

School is a prison. I ace all my classes, and I still feel that way. And really, no one is born to be a failure. Each of us has his or her own plane in society. You're a great artist. You may not be good at math, but you certainly excel at art. There are others, who would willingly swap their aptitude at math or any of the basic academic subjects for your skill in art.

Really, we all go through this period at times. There are times when I feel like absolute shit, and think that if one more thing happens, I'm gonna break. I understand perfectly here.

You know, even though you may have to go to summer school, it really isn't that bad in the grand scheme of things. Just face it: it could be a lot worse. Besides, if you really work your arse off this next week and ace your finals, you could pull up your grades.

What I can do for your sadness is suggest this: smile often. Even if it's a false smile, you'll start to feel a little better, day by day. Really, it works. Try it.

I like listening to peoples problems. I get joy out of it. You can cause me a sadist but, complaining to someone makes you feel better, and I feel better because of your pain, so it's a very good system.

If you ever want to chat, I'm always checking up on this site, even if I no longer post much. I'm not leaving here for a good 2 years or so. I still have some loose ends to tie up.

So, anytime you want someone to vent to, I'm all ears.



I understand completely want it feels like to be alone, with no purpose. No future. Just a dark, eternal path of repeating pain. No mater how hard you try, you cannot escape.

I'm afraid to say that, I have found no escape, as hard as I have tried. But you seem far better off than me. I'm sure you can escape. You can leave. Unlike me, you are needed. You have friends. People who love you, and don't want to see your candle extinguished. So don't leave. Not just yet. You don't fail at everything.

Purpose is not something you are born with. Purpose is something you must seek out. And it's also not something magical either. Sometimes your purpose is a simple thing or two, like bringing joy into someone else's life. Again, you can't tell me you have no friends. You have ones who care for you. Don't give up on them.

I'm sure if you continue on, you can find a purpose far greater than this, but for now, this is all you need. So what if you fail a class or two? The average person is not perfect. You are exactly as you need to be. You may have failed those classes, but you are doing well in others, are you not? And I'm certain you have special skills that other people can only DREAM about having.

Unlike me, you would NOT be better off dead. You have a special spot that no one else can fill, as do we all. But your spot...someone WANTS your spot filled. You are not unnecessary. People don't want to have to jam in a pice to replace you, because they want you, not some fake piece that isn't the right part, nor do they want it left blank. You are wanted. You are NEEDED.

So don't give up hope. Go on, existing. Don't surrender your flame just yet. There's still plenty of time.

i have the same problem. i just push its of like it nothing and start focusing on my career, making 3D models and programing. you see when you fall behind, even say, forget to do 2 homework assignments over the weekend, you fall behind, and then when you talk to people about video games you automatically get deemed a super-nerd and then you start failing math because your trying to get your social status up again, then when you work hard at school your deemed a nerd agian, THEN if you start to forget more homework assignments your teachers start teasing you, just a little tease, but then it starts to become less of a tease and more of a mock. then you have your parents yelling at you for your grades, kids bullying you for your interests, and teachers mocking you for your lack of "hard labor." Then the most welcoming thing to you is that knife to the throat, or that swinging rope on the tree in your backyard, or that bullet to the head.
