Then it wouldn't be the same. A remake is a remake. There are many reason why Gold/Silver was the shit back then.
Wouldn't it be better if they add new stuff to it, like they added the Sevii Island on FireRed/LeafGreen? |

Lol, that's what I meant; I think they should add more stuff, but I also meant they should maybe add something about Celebi or something into it as well, just to catch the attention of those who have "grown bored" of the game. I know people like that. XD |

They might have a Celebi event. The point of this remake is to catch em all. |

It's not really a waste of money since you won't be able to play the original Gold/Silver anymore sometime soon. Most cartridges will probably be dead in another year or so.
I'm willing to bet my copy is dead. |

So it's like two games in one...again, if you don't count the lack of the original starters. There's a chance that they'll add some means of getting a Charmander, Bulbasaur, and Squirtle though. |

I meant in terms of it basically being R/B on the DS as well, meaning the only Pokemon you actually need a GBA/Non-DSi for are some of the Hoenn Pokemon, 99% of the others can be obtained D/P/P and G/S. |

As much as I absolutely loathe Nintendo's "if it ain't broken, don't fix it" philosophy regarding the design of Pokemon games, hell, I'll buy Soul Silver when it makes it to the West, if only for nostalgic purposes. |
