She was having trouble finding someone to go to the game with on during the week (she had two tickets, I think they were prizes from some contest), so I told her that I would go with her. Now, bear in mind that I dislike sports, even more so when I have to watch other people play, but it was on Mother's Day and I didn't want her to be alone.
As I expected, there was too many people (over 45000), the food was overpriced, and I didn't care much for the game. However, she was happy and when the Philly Phanatic met up with his "mom", I cracked up laughing when the Mom fell off the little go-cart. It was a cute little sketch, and when the Phanatic ran back to help his mom, almost everyone within my hearing went "Awwww..."
Also, there was a little boy sitting behind me. When I took out my DS to work on a puzzle between innings, he wanted to see the Sonic Stylus. The kid kept dropping it back into my hand, but my Mom and his parents thought it was hilarious when he tried to keep the stylus by giving me his jacket. |
