First few reviews averaging out at a 6.

Usually I don't like to base my assumptions of a game on other people's reviews, even more so when it's Grin making it, but I think I might have to go with them on this one.

Punch-Out it is.

I've looked at a couple of reviews for Punch Out!! and the general score seems to be around an 8.5. I thought it was going to be worse.

I hope it's not just for the nostalgia factor.

But I'm still getting it either way.

The reviews I've seen mainly dissed it for no online and lack of more original characters.

I can understand the original characters part, but Punch-Out!! wouldn't really work with online play since the real strategy of the game is to figure out the other boxers' patterns and stuff.

Little Mac vs. Little Mac isn't very exciting.

I loved the BC multiplayer demo, and that's why I'm getting it anyway.
From what I've read of the reviews, Gamespot's in particular (I think), they're slamming it because it's linear and trying to compare it to Spiderman. Linearity is not a bad thing and the multiplayer will probably be where it's at anyway. ФֻФ

I think online could have worked if you could play as the other Boxers.

Also if Doc was an unlockable character.

Oh man, it'd be classic if, while playing as Doc, Mac would coach you.

That would be awesome. Too bad Wii doesn't support DLC.

Correction: Too bad Nintendo doesn't give two shits about anything, as they're having a money fight.
