I would like to know your views on the problems you feel are making RPOT worse? I have never known the true reasons of why you feel RPOT is being ruined. Please do not flame certain members, and I would prefer those who dislike RPOT to please stay out of this thread, and if you wish to say something, post it in the other thread I have made.

From what I see, it's mainly due to those who simply see it as "cool story brah" and muck about, disrupting topics.
While even in the boat fest, this didn't happen much, it occurred more beforehand.

Plus, it got annoying to wade through a page of topics written by nearly the same six people on the same single subject

It's not "RPOT" I liked.
It's RPing in general.

And the plots slowly died, the fun I used to have grew less and less. And other's started leaving.

Also, back then a lot of people were ignored (me, semi). It kinda made them not want to post, dispite having good ideas. So less and less people posted.

Then the last factor for me, was when I got stuck in a rut and couldn't think of anything new.

It wasn't even about any flammers or haters, yo. I just ignored all that. It's about the fun and other members. And that slowly died.

I never thought RPOT got ruined (we had our downs, but come on, everything does). It's just that all of the other RPers did, so they got up and left. Then RP and RPOT pretty much fell over and died, and they got, like, three posts a day. Maybe.

So, I joined the RPOT forum, where there's more than one post per day.

If people started posting in Digi's RP and RPOT, so would I. But I don't see that happening any time soon.

MAYBE I SHOULD BE A TRENDSETTER

On that note, I don't think that the boat raid contributed to the downfall of RPOT except for the whole thing where everyone else thought it was.

but yeah

Almost everyone who was epic left, and the fun, highly interactive plots turned into only sub-par, kinda fun plots.

Some people are whining on how the boats ruined everything. It's moreover of everyone seeming to leave at the same time because "IT'S JUST NOT GOOD ANYMORE." Which angers me because I have to go to my accursed original roleplaying site. Like Tayl said, I just wait for threads usually, and I'm thinking about trying to start more threads. Since my roleplaying pal left due to being pissed off substantially, I'm getting less and less to do, really. Watching everyone leave at the same time is... Tragic.

TL;DR I'm really bored because everyone else is leaving, which is the real problem.

I wonder if there was a weekly or daily RP theme, would that help spur imagination and activity?

From what I can imagine Rping isnt about having someone give you an Idea but building off your own characters and creating your own stories
