Here I will be posting a fanfic free of Notsos! This takes place between the first two Paper Mario games.

Ahem! Today...
I'm going to tell you the legend of the Star Rod.
This Star Rod was held by the seven Star Spirits in legendary Star Haven.
It had the power to grant many wishes.
But once, Bowser took it and used it for himself.
He captured every Star Spirit and spread them all over the Mushroom Kingdom.
He then proceeded to kidnap the kngdom's princess, Peach, and to completely remove the castle from the earth.
But Mario proved to be a hero once again.
He made his way all over the Mushroom Kingdom, recovering each Star Spirit.
He even reached the great Star Haven in his quest.
After a long, epic battle, he defeated Bowser and rescued princess, Star Rod, and castle.
At this point, Twink was granted the rank as a Star Spirit.
And he used his newfound power to divide the Star Rod into eight pieces, one for each of the Star Spirits.
Unfortunately, Bowser wasn't satisfied with his first outing.
This is a story of his second attempt, the rise of a different unknown power, and the very different adventure awaiting Mario...and Luigi?
