Runescape caused me to hate grinding with passion. It sure was addictive for the two years I played it, but... Oh my... These two years feel wasted.
I had no problem grinding a Magikarp to level 20 before playing it. After I played it, I beat Platinum's first E4 with a team of Pokémon at level 50, the strongest being level 55. I ground once, and only once, in the whole game. It was to bring all my Pokémon to level 20 before beating Fantina. |

I played it once, briefly.
Maybe it's not a bad game, but the players drove me away from it almost immediately after finishing the tutorial. |

I remember that I used to play it. I got addicted to it, as it was my first MMO. Of course, I just got bored with it. All the cool people on my friends list never came on anymore.
I stopped playin' it, like, two years ago? It was fun while it lasted, I guess. |

Runescape was addicting to me, too, but I'm glad I stopped playing it.
Now I got to meet Chax, my current addiction.
But yeah. Runescape was cool. I used to be great in Cooking, Crafting, Woodcutting and Firemaking before I quit it. I was at a high mining and smelting level. Mining is particularly annoying, as when you're just good enough to get a kind of ore, you still have to mine for it forever, and that is if there's no-one else that's 20 levels above you is mining for it at the same time. |
