Yes, I realise digibutter isn't the ideal place to ask, but somebody might have some hidden knowledge.
I'm planning on getting a new desktop soon, as my old one kinda died. Unfortunatly, my budget only allows me to get computers with intergrated graphics, which might not live up to want I wan't to use it for.
I was thinking that I could use the graphics card from my old, broken computer (if it's better) in the new one. However, I'm not sure if it would as simple, what with intergrated being replaced with a card.
Is this possible? |

I believe this is possible, though I think you need the cd to install the drivers and such. |

You need to take the motherboard out of your old PC if you're going to use it. |

Although in this instance, the new graphics card was actually new, so that might make a difference, I guess...

To "override" an old integrated card you need to disable it in your BIOS. |
