I was soo *crag* close to beating Wily (MM9).
I ran through all my 9 E-Tanks. I accidentaly saved when I had 4 left, and seeing if I restarted, I wouldn't start at the last level, I knew there was no turning back.
I had Wily on the ropes. He was at his last form with 1/3 of his HP, and with all my tanks full (thanks to my M-Tank), I felt like it was over.
But I got so careless. I had around 3 bars of HP left, and him 2; whoever dealt the last blow would reign victorious. I had 2 E-Tanks left, but my cockyness blinded me from taking caution.
...and I lost. It was my last life too. All those hours gone to waste. It was over; and he won.
As expected, I raged hard. Maybe not "hear me next door" hard, but it was pretty noticable.
I feel like i'll never beat that overpowered bastard. He's so *crag* cheap, I swear. :(
tl;dr MM9 Wily kicked my ass.
I don't think i'll be touching that game for a long time. It's the farthest i've ever gotten, and I still died. Also, i'm too lazy to hoard so many screws and refill my E-Tank supply right now. |

Yeah that *crag* Yellow Devil-ish Twin Bubble thing always eats about 4 of my E-Tanks. I wish they would've gave him a weakness; he is just *crag* overkill man. :( |

He does have a weakness, and he's easy when you use his weakness. Otherwise, you're pretty much screwed without using E-tanks.
Black Hole Bomb. aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
And you know, after you die without any lives left, you can still restart the last level without having to go back. If you died with your last life in Wily Stage 4, you can still continue, at the beginning of Wily stage 4. And you'll still have all your E-tanks and items you didn't use yet. You've just got to beat all the bosses again. You've got 3 lives after that, and all of your weapon energy starts out completely filled.
It's not really that bad. I've managed to beat Superhero mode on Megaman 9 without using the shop at all. Granted, it was incredibly difficult, but I did it. Beating the game regularly became a bit easy after playing it for so long. |

I've never really noticed a difference when using Black Hole Bombs on him. It's actually faster if you use your Megabuster IMO.
I know you start with what you originally had, but I wasted my M-Tank. Without it, I would've been *crag*, since most of my Abilities are depleted by the time I get to him. Even with the tanks, it's just not enough for me. |

HOLY SHIT GUYS I BEAT IT
but then I forgot to save so I BEAT IT AGAIN
and then I saved and found out it just wipes you clean of everything (pretty much like rewriting your current file) and I was like BAWWWWW but I did get 2 new achivements out of it like Air Shoes and something involving beating Wily quickly
I ended up with the Waltz, Tango, and Jitterbug achievements so i'm like "*crag* year".
Now it's time for Protoman Mode. 8) |

lol i've actually done it before; I accidentaly erased my file yesterday tho when I was looking for a way to erase my original Megaman file; I was going to restart it to try and get a better end record.
I was actually at Wily already; I just never bothered to finish it.
But yeah, hoarding E-Tanks from Plug Man is a pain. |
