I've seen custom user titles on a lot of forums, including this kind of forum. Maybe there could be an item that you can buy and use it to make your own user title?
And if any one doesn't know what a user title is, it's like this;
(This is the username) Bob
(This is the user title) Crazy Member |

Francis doesn't like the idea of user titles; it promotes spam to get to a certain title.
EDIT: Also, I think Feedback would be more appropriate for this kind of thread.

I mean, literally destroyed. Even the mods were spamming! (well, except the creator of the system) It was, like, a madplace. |

Because everyone would try to make quick and stupid posts to get their post count up. Then it would start arguments about what's spam and what's not. Then, more people would spam to "deflect" what they think is spam which really isn't, but seeing as they're more accustomed to spam by this time... *BLA BLA BLA BLA*
Pretty much, to get the post count up. |

But, this is a different type of user title. Celebi's talking about an item you buy to get user titles, not user titles based on posts. Also, that still woudn't 'cause spam, as other items haven't. |
