(Mario jumps off of the building)

Daisy: Oh no...

Mr I: THE MARIO MORONS ARE DISQUALIFIED!

Everyone but Mario: -_-

Mario: I LIKE PASTA! YIPPEE!

Meanwhile, the Final Bosses and the Paper Pioneers are having a fierce ariel battle

Kamek: LAUNCH THE SHRINKING BEAM!

(Dimentio presses a button which causes the Paper Pioneers to shrink down to microscopic size)

Wart: THIS IS IN THE BAG!

(However, Wart laughs so much that bubbles fly out. They spread across the controls, causing the machine to dive to the ground)

Grodus: I shall kill you extremely soon...

Count Bleck: Count Bleck seconds that remark.

Smithy: I WILL CRUSH ALL OF YOU!

(Meanwhile...)

Bob-omb: PUSH!

(Since Boom Boom became unconscious, Dry Bones is now seen pushing Whomp. Meanwhile...)

Bowser Jr: THIS'LL BE TOO EASY, POP!

Bowser: Sure will be, Junior.

Wendy: You shouldn't say that.

Bowser: Why?

(Suddenly, the shell is hit by a banana thrown by the Krazy Kongs. However, it launches a fireball in retaliation)

Diddy: IT BURNS!

Kiddy: FIRE LOOK GOOD!

(Both teams fall off. However, the Kewl Koopas fall first.)

Chaos Dimentio: FIRE THE PLASTIC!

(Flaming plastic hits the Mighty Pipes)

Mighty Plumber: I'LL FIX IT!

(Mighty Plumber presses a button, causing a slick of water to travel out. The Dimention Traveler starts to fall)

Popple: THIS IS AWFUL, SEE!

Chaos Dimentio: TELEPORT!

(The entire Elite Nerr team is transported...inside the Mighty Pipes)

Chargin' Chuck: HEY! GET OUTTA HERE!

Angry Sun: I'M VERY ANGRY!

(Suddenly, Angry Sun melts the entire pipeworks.)

Jimmy T: GOODNESS, GRACIOUS, GREAT BALLS OF FIRE!

(Jimmy accidently presses the "Blow up the stove" button. Angry Sun breaks out of his stove)

Chef Torte: Sac re bleu!

(The entire machine falls down the skyscraper. However, Chaos Dimentio flies down a lot slower than the rest of the group.)

Dry Bones: HEY! NO ONE'S HERE! WE WIN!

Whomp: Should Whomp fall off now?

Dry Bones: Uh...sure.

(Whomp jumps off)

Mr I: AND THE WINNER IS...THE PAPER PIONEERS!

Everyone but Mario: WHAT?!

Mario: YIPPEE!

Mr I: They're still on the tower!

(The Paper Pioneers un-shrink)

Mr I: See? So THEY WIN THE BATTLE COMPETITION!

(The entire Fearsome Fortress, including Boom Boom, beats on Whomp. Lemmy and Iggy wake up)

Iggy: Did we-

Lemmy: -win?

Roy: WE GOT THRASHED, NO THANKS TO YOU!

Mr I: And now, the official end-of-the-day results!

Gadd: Stupid. They won because of luck, nothing more. And, in the end, they were still idiots.

Mr I: Is Last Place as you expected?

Gadd: Yes, but I did expect that the Krazy Kongs would swap places with the Other Losers. AND THE FINAL BOSSES SHOULD'VE WON, AND YOU KNOW IT!

Mr I: Troopa?

Troopa: Mario in last. That not good.

Mr I: Looks like some of the fan-favorites are really down in the points, and a few idiots are in second place! And now, here are my faithfull assistants, Professor Elvin Gadd, and a random Koopa Troopa I rescued from an evil dumpster!

Mr I: Today's a sports-related challenge. So...Gadd. Who do you think will have the upper hand today?

Gadd: Definately the Final Bosses. Smithy can take on anyone when it comes to weight, and so can Wart. Dimentio and Count Bleck can handle speed, and what CAN'T King Boo and Cackletta do?

Koopa Troopa: Bowser gave me a raise, so I'll say the Kewl Koopas.

Mr I: AND THERE YOU HAVE IT! BRING IN THE TEAMS!

(All eight teams are there)

Mr I: Alright, here is the contest...anyone play basketball?

(The entire group, except for Sandslash, moans. Sandslash jumps in the air)

Mr I: Because you won't be playing it!

(Sandslash trips and falls)

Mr I: Instead, you're going to have EXACTLY one hour to create a five-man basketball team! You must then manage your team in a miniature playoff, until a champion is crowned.

Daisy: What about the teams who get eliminated in the same round?

Mr I: The total score of your game will be compared to the others to determine your rank. Winner gets 50 points! You can go absolutely ANYWHERE in the known Marioverse. Recruit ANYONE or ANYTHING! You can have more than five members, but only five are required.

Dry Bones: What if we can't get five members?

Mr I: You may have up to two team members play, but ONLY if you have three or four basketball-specific players. AND DON'T CHEAT ON PURPOSE TO GET YOURSELF INTO THE GAME! Breaking of this rule will give you indigestion. And...GO!

(The teams run off to wherever)
