OK, I noticed people are always asking "Why can Mario flip only?" Well, I have answers.
Peach: There's no point in floating left and right if you are going forward.
Bowser: You can't do any "Down" actions, including Bowser's Flames. And, he stinks at platforming, what you need to do a lot of in 3D
Luigi: They were seemingly going to let him, but it was taken out. Probably what happenend was they changed the button for the Spring Jump.
So, there you have it. Why only Mario can flip. |

In addition, Mario is the only one present (sans Tippi) when Bestovious allows Flipping Power.
However, I think that the special abilities should have all been accomplished with the A Button.
Also, your logic seems flawed, as abilities (Bowser's Fire Breath, Luigi's Spring Jump, etc) could've been used by pressing the useless B button...CURSE GAMECUBE EXPORTS! I really enjoy this game, but it would've been that much better if it had been originally developed for Wii.
However, I do agree that Peach is useless in 3D. |

Basically, anything to do with flipping would be considered on-topic. Bestovious, in my mind, falls into that category.
In addition, Bowser would pwn if he could flip. I'd think he'd be the best character if he could flip. Anyone else? |

I know, but I'm greedy with my items. That's half an Emergency Ration I would be wasting. Bowser would be free. |

You DO have to go back to Bestovius' house later on two occasions: There's a map that points to his house, and you need to deliver the You-Know-What and get the Training Machine from him.
A better source of pwnage: Growmebas. What you do, is you wait for them to clone AT LEAST 10-15 time, then pwn them all with an item. The item must attack all enemies, and be powerful enough to do it at once. For a plian Growmega, a Fire Burst will suffice. The Blomeba, Chromeba, and Dark Growmeba should be pwned with an Ice Storm. A Shell Shock won't work, because it's limited to ground enemies, and it can pwn the player as well. If you supersized it, that's 30 damage you got for not dodging it.
The BEST source of pwnage points: The herd of Muths in Crag 5-1. A little Bowser flame, and you've got yourself a Roast Muth barbeque. I bet Bowser wanted to make calamari out of the Giant Blooper in Bitlands 3-2... |
