Do you have to get to a certain point in your game before you can transfer your Pokemon from your GBA game to D/P?

How do you do it? @__@

Get the National Dex by seeing all the Pokemon in the Sinnoh Dex


Then go to Pal Park

I think you have to beat the Elite Four as well. And Pal Park is found by going to Sandgem town and surfing Southeast.

Beat the elite four and then you get the national dex and then you have to swim to the very bottom island on your map (it gives you a fly point once you get there) and then you go into this place called pal park and put your gba pak in and then it'll show you your pkmn boxes as you left them and then you pick six pokemon and either look them up on serebii.net or something to find their location in pal park or just go and guess (remember to brink pokemon that know surf, cut, and rock smash (I think...) and then once you catch them you can save them to your game.

ps. it's a one hit catch rate and you cannot transfer pokemon in the gba party slot.
