At the end of the battle in Chapter 3-3, he says "Were you amused? That was just an hors d'oeuvre! The next time we meet, you will feast on a deadly eight-course meal!"
You have to chase him through seven chapters, then battle him in Chapter 8-3. That's eight. Did anyone else realize this? |

I did notice that before, but I dismissed it as nothing. Nice find. And yes, you do meet him before the battle in 8-3, but you don't fight him until 8-3 do you now? |

Nope. All the other things are pure storyline coincidence, O' Cabbage and Mimi were the only ones you fought until then. |
