okay, it's really pulling at my consciousness now - so let's confine all the off-topic complaints to one topic. So please, nobody get mad at anybody in this topic, otherwise we will all be back to square 1 and these split sides will still be waging "war".

First I just want everyone to state an honest opinion WITHOUT blaming anyone. I say this because I feel like a target of people - others have blamed me for the off topic becoming a pervert playground. I'm not the one who started it, simply joined in, and other people did too. It's not 100% my fault, all of us who participated should be sharing the blame.

And it's very obvious that people here have completely different definitions of "spam", "offtopic", "dump", and such. So realize that other people have the exact same right to an opinion, and for at least the first part of this, let's not try and persuade anyone to change their opinions so we can at least reach an agreement.

So, in this thread tell everyone your thoughts and opinions on these questions, and other things that you could cover are welcome too.

1. The current state of Digibutter
2. What Off-Topic should be
3. What Off-Topic currently is
4. What the [m] tags should and shouldn't be used for
5. The state of the topics with [m] tags
6. What spam is, what kinds, etc

I'm going to state my own personal opinions later on, but as for now I don't want to start anything up by someone feeling hurt or blamed or anything.
So, please people, let's just try and talk this out instead of having a flame war. Problems are inevitable, but they are easier to deal with this way.

If any other issues exist, do tell so I can add them to that list. Also, just voice opinions and nothing else for right now; don't point fingers at anyone either for the moment.

Well, the [M] tags have been resolved by Francis. I'm just not too sure about this, there isn't alot of people currently on Digibutter, they're all on vacation.

2. Off-topic should be less active, Or there should be a spam forum

3. off-topic is currently, the most visited place on the whole site

4. [m] tags should be for mature things, but at a certain level that can't reach rated-R

5. [m] tags are also the most used things on this forum, and are mostly used for pervertedness

6. Spam should not be acceptable, or There should be a spam forum, that way, off topic will be off-topic, not pervert-[m]-land.

Well, I might as well go over my opinions now...

1. The current state of Digibutter:It's pretty dead here, even in off-topic. However, not a whole lot of people are here anyways, off-topic has little to nothing to do with the state of digibutter. It's okay, nothing really to be worrying about.

2. What Off-Topic should be:Like the dump, but more restricted. The concept is perfect, but the execution is not existent. We have much more work to do if we want Off-Topic to be what we truly want it to be like.

3. What Off-Topic currently is:Like any spam forum, a few people here are IMPO, pretty immature, and make a huge ruckus over a small thing, thus, they want to leave or they cause flame wars there. Straiten up, people!

4: What the [m] tags should and shouldn't be used for:They should be used for more suggestive subjects, but not for outright pornography.

5. The state of the topics with [m] tags: I think it's not that bad, but quite a few others are going to outright disagree with me.

6. What spam is, what kinds, etc:Spam can range from things that don't have enough content to really be in more special forums to outright randomness. Off-Topic isn't really meant to have things like "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA" and related things, thats why the dump was nuked and was removed.

1. Digibutter is in a semi-okay state. We have the rare troll and spam coming in on Off-Topic. Many people people, understandably, are leaving.

2. Off-Topic should be a forum for General Discussion topics, but with less seriousness.

3. Off-Topic is a house for YouTube Poops, spam, and the occasional actual discussion.

4. The [M] tag should be used for swearing and sensitive discussion. That's all.

5. The [M] tags are being used VERY little. Mostly to indicate swearing.

6. Spam is single-double word posts, and pointless posts.

So far it looks like everyone's pretty much in agreement about most things, besides the activity in off-topic. :3 That's good

1. Digibutter WAS slowly dying. But it's starting to get it's reputation back... slowly. I still like this site and I'm not leaving it. Plus, everyone will come back from their vacations.

2. Off-Topic should be a forum where you put stuff up like videos you made or whatever (I don't know what else).

3. Off-Topic right now is a spam circus... 'Nuff said. Also, there are a few topics that are completely out of place in there.

4. [M] tags should be used as either "watch out! Bad language ahead" or "Extreme violence". If it's a serious topic and [M] rated, I think that would work too.
What it shouldn't be used for... pointless topics. Some users are still abusing the [M] by putting up topics like "ZOMG *insert something M rated here*" and it ends up being a RickRolled video. That's a no no.

5. [M] is mostly used with topics with swear words in it. I can't remember anything else.

6. Spam is like what Sandslash said. Pointless posts/topics that waste space.
