And besides.
1: Dead people in Mario games just doesn't seem right.
2: What would the Boo come from? A dead Toad? Because Mario, Luigi, and Peach seem to be the only "people" in the Mushroom Kingdom. Wait, I think I just discovered a conspiracy! All the people in the Mushroom Kingdom died and became Boos! Nah. I still vote for the species thing.
edit: I forgot to include other humans like Wario, Il Piantissimo and such. |

For #2, PM2: TTYD showed us that dead toads become ghosts, but not Boos. So yeah, I agree with you here. |
