A few days ago in the Clock Crew IRC chat room the topic was brought up about whether or not Miyamoto was crazy. So out of a stroke of insanity I sent this e-mail to Nintendo.
Hello there. Several of my acquaintances have stated they believe one
Mr. Miyamoto to not be of sound mind. I myself disagree with this
proposal completely, but still would like to kindly ask a favor on their
behalf. Could someone who has met the man personally please reply back and either confirm or deny this acquisition. I thank you regardless of your decision.
And to my surprise I actually received a reply today.
Hi,
They won't let us in to see him at the facility where he's being
housed. I understand he is highly medicated. Ha, Ha, just kidding!
He's really a very responsible and well mannered family man who values
his privacy. Clearly, he was a wonderful imagination that is apparent
in all of his games, and he has incredible visions for the future of
the video game industry. However, I can assure you that he is quite
sane.

Heck, I'm medically not of sound mind... but you can't really tell, because I am heavily medicated. :D
And most creative people are a little bit off their rocker. In the mental home I was in once, there was this big list of all famous artists and historical figures with mental disorders.
I'm even beginning to suspect that Craig McCracken is crazy. XD "I can't cut my hair. My hair gives me all my powers. I'm like Samson or something." XDDD |

I am trying to decide what to put on there.. either a Miyamoto fan forum, a list of all his games, or maybe just a funny image |
