Ok, i'm playing MP3, i'm on Bryyon, i'm at the west landing point, trying to disable those 2 energy sources. Anyways, I get to this part where there's this big machine, and I pull down the lever, and the shield above it disapears for a while. What do I do? I've tryed everything....
EDIT: Ok, I've just scanned a couple things, and I learned that my ship needs increased firepower. How do I do that?

I don't have the game but I remember reading something in NP about calling the ship to some sort of landing pad (or something like that) have you passed one or is there anything like that around, if not, I am out of ideas.
Edit:
OK, I think I may know where you need to go (I found the part of the article in NP, there is some sort of landing pad where you normally can't land (It has air-to-surface missiles), you have to find some way to open the hanger bay doors (I guess it is inside or something) in order to land the ship, I am guessing you will be able to upgrade it in there with the missles |

Yes, you walk around until the Aurora shows you the Federation landing site, then go there. You solve a puzzle to open the hangar bay doors, then upgrade your ship with missles.
