I've noticed that ALL of my contributions to Guild Wars Wiki have been reverted, even though they provide helpful information. If I post a map of an area, it gets removed for "irrelivancy". Then another user goes ahead and posts the exact same thing, and it stays. So, I decided to try an experiment to see if this actually persists.

Trial #1: Information comparable to info on similar pages
I post a small bit in the page Destroyer of Sinew. My exact addition was:

"Sinew" is "Wenis" backwards, which is the skin on your elbow.

Status: Removed, for irrelivancy.

Comparison: "Nilbog" is "Goblin" backwards.

Status of comparison: Not removed.

Holy crap. How is mine irrelivant when the comparison is the same situation?

Trial #2: Adding info to a skill
I add the information to the skill Dash. My exact addition was:

"If you activate this skill and run over a trap, it will trigger, and not affect you."

Status: Removed, for false information.

A few days later, this appeared.

"The improvement in speed is high enough to let the player pass through a trap and trigger it, but not take damage."

Status: Not removed.

What the hell? Exact same thing, worded differently! Then I thought...

What if guildwiki only keeps unintelligent contributions?

It was an insane thought, but I decided to test it out, anyways.

Trial #3: Adding unintelligent and partially untrue information
Mending. Everybody's favorite skill. This time, I added...

"A famous joke is to use the skill Echo before using this skill, you'll have two Mendings on your bar and will be invincible. "Echo Mending, gg"."

Now, of course, this obviously isn't true. "Echo mending" is a joke, but the rest is total bull.

Status: Not removed.



So, there you have it. Wikis only allow false information, total bull, and retards that delete your contribution, so they can replace it and make themselves look better.

I tried a few on Wikipedia. Same results. I have a lifetime ban, for "repeated vandalization".

A few were bots. Most were figures of authority.

IP. It started as an account. That got banned. Then the IP. Now, It won't let me create an account.

EDIT: I just checked it. I'm banned, and it's not even my IP! What the hell!

I had contributed to the X-Naut Section in Super Mario Wiki. Stating that Johnson was a notable Minor X-Naut due to the fact of him having a name that is official. It was deleted. Some time later, some other guy types pretty much the exact same thing and it stays.....

Here's a little interesting bit.

Look at the last section. Naga fangs? That's a single item, not a whole fricken' category. Yet, they won't let me make the Consumables category. I expect to be banned soon, from "Vandalizing".


Trial #4: Creating a page that contains a list of consumable items. One one other page is remotely similar to this, and it's not even near complete. This is partially complete, but it's a wiki for a reason.

If this page gets deleted, I'm sending in a complaint. There's been many people asking about consumables in-game, and nobody has a place to refer them to.

This is interesting. Wikis either randomly accept stuff, and randomly delete other stuff, or there's criteria I'm not aware of.

All right, I think I've figured some of this out.

"Wenis" isn't an official word in the dictionary, so it was removed. For the Dash edit, the other person's edit was in clearer words. For the third one, they don't pay attention to fads, so yo can pretty much make any page, call it a fad and it won't be deleted. (Don't try it.)

So, my 4th trial yields a much needed contribution. Its important already, with about 150 hits in a day.

Knowing some of this, I should be able to make some pages without them being deleted.
