The Master Hand threw in two more victims he had found: a black Yoshi named Licorice, and a young human named Mandew.

"That should be enough..." he murmured.

Snapping his fingers, he teleported the three fighters to the main fighting area, which included dozens of doors leading to various battlefields. "Welcome," he said, "to the Super Smash Stadium. I am the Master Hand, ruler of this place. You three," he said, gesturing to Vaati, Licorice, and Mandew, "are my...guests. Super Smash is a game, I suppose you could say. Two people enter a battlefield, and have a brawl to the death. There are multiple rule configurations, so choose the ones you want. Of course, you won't really die; I'll keep all of you alive so you can continue to entertain me. The first two to do battle are Vaati and Licorice. Mandew, you can either be a part of the audience or remain in a room. BUT WHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT ENTER THE DOOR ON THE TOP FLOOR. I'M SERIOUS. DON'T DO IT. Anyway...as time goes on, I will find more fighters, as well as allow you to enter more battlefields. Have fun...or not..."

Master Hand disappeared, and a display appeared before the three fighters. "Please choose a rule configuration and a stage," it read.

Rule configurations:
