My cat is missing. Last night he was sleeping in bed with my mom, then we woke up this morning and none of us could find him.
Our best guess is that he slipped out of the house when my dad was going to the garage to get a soda, then got scared outside and ran down the street.
Really we don't know. We're usually really, really careful to keep our indoor cats... well, indoors.
I'm still in the whole "this can't be happening to me" mode. We made flyers and put them on the mailbox flags of everyone in the neighborhood.
Now all we can do is hope for the best. Even my other cat is really upset, and you can tell she's really lonely.

sorry to hear. I know how you feel. one time, I came back from some place, and my dad opened the door, and my cat just ran outside. and we were going to chase it, but my dad said its to late and to forget about it.. luckily, 2 days after she came back. |

M'aiq's cat just runs to the door if you put her outside. |

My cat has NEVER been outside before. He's an INDOOR CAT. He doesn't know where anything is in the neighborhood, he probably couldn't even find his way back to our house if we let him go at the end of the street.
Plus, if he got out in the middle of the night, he could be coyote lunch by now. |

Cats are more resourceful than you may think, even indoor cats. If you're worried, try leaving a trail of cat food leading to your house. |

You have Coyotes?
M'aiq lives near a forest, but there's nothing in there. >_>
(Trust me, I've been through it about 500 times.) |

My cat spends 80% of her time outside, and she always comes home. I'm sure yours will come home, too.
While typing this, I even let her outside. |

Good luck finding your cat...
We had an indoor cat that got out once. She jumped out through the back door, took one look around, and lodged herself between our grill and the house, she was so scared. We found her next morning.
I hope it's as easy for you. |
