Make it so that it doesn't display our regular username when we delete an RP character and post on it. It causes confusion. |

Example...
Let's say you created the character "Sonic". You make posts in a popular topic as "Sonic" for a good while, but then decide to swap out "Sonic" for a new one... so you become, say, Dr. Robotnik.
Now whenever someone looks at the topic, all those posts you made as Sonic appear under your new name of "Dr. Robotnik", which causes them to make a lot less sense.

Oh, yeah! You can only see their original names in quotes like I was mariofan360.
But, the MESSAGE, (not the quote) would say luigifan360.

This is actually a different situation. YM is saying that when he deletes a character, then the post changes to show that he posted as YM instead of his alt. That I can fix (ill just have to remember the alts name for that post... but I will not remember the avatar).
But, if you edit a character, I have to show whatever is the current version because editing was intended for like spelling mistakes, or if you want to change the avatar. |

I still think the name you posted it under should be there, even if you edit.
Example:
You make a Knuckles alt, and act like Knuckles. But then you get bored and change to Mario. Then someone gets bored and looks at pretty old topics and wonders why Mario said "Get away from MY emerald!". |

Like I said, editing was intended for like spelling mistakes or if you want to change the avatar. If you want to totally change the character, then "delete" it (use the [x] link) first. |
