Sorry, but I'm a bit pissed at the moment. Excuse me if I come across like an ass for the next while.
A perfectly good GW forum wasted. I log on, and all I see is a huge banner across the front page that says "WORLD OF WARCRAFT NOW OWNS ALL YOU F***ERS." I say "What the hell? Was the site hacked?"
So I go into various topics. The site WAS hacked. Almost everybody's posts were edited, making it look like we were discussing how much better WoW is than GW, and the hackers didn't go lightly on the language. Or any other details. They posted male porn everywhere, and made the posts say "Hey, I'm a GW player. This is what I do in my spare time". Worse, every time we posted a message asking what happened, the account got deleted. So all I could do is sit there and wonder.
Not once in the history of the forum did WoW even get mentioned.
About 10 minutes later, the hackers deleted the whole site altogether. Sorry about this, but...
