The fireballs didn't last as long underwater. |

Yeah, in SPM, you can infinitely breath fire with Bowser on land and underwater. But um...why are you mentioning oxygen and stuff? Water puts out fires. That's why I'm confused. |

water puts out fires because a fire needs oxygen. no oxygen, no fire. lotsa water, no oxygen. lotsa plotholes, LOTSA SPAGHETTI, and lotsa oxygen |

Please don't double post...this isn't a chat-room.
Oh, I get it now...I guess maybe Bowser's fire defies all logic and can burn anywhere and any time. |

There IS some oxygen in the water, but it's too perfectly blended with Hydrogen. That's why Water puts out Fire... well, not exactly.
NEVER try to put out a fire coming from an Electrical Machine with water. The fire will be worst if you do so. |

Why did Mario need a space helmet in SPM, when he could breath on the moon in TTYD? Heck, how does a fish bowl count as a space-helmet anyway? |

They needed to put comical effect at every corner of the game.
Because Mario RPG - Lulz = INSTA PHAIL. |

It's simple actually. When Bowser opens his mouth, he releases a wave of oxygen, because of the International gravity law of '96, paragraph Z, the oxygen is converted into Tiiiiiny bubbles. These bubble are ignited by a small parasite called the sparktoplakton. All the bubbles flare up, thus creating the appearance of 'Fire'.[/solution]
