There should be random happenings while you browse the fourms like. "You see a small amount of coins in a bush(5 coins gained)", "you trip on a spam topic and spill money from your wallet on the ground (6 coins lost)". The same thing could be applied to items.
There could be raffle/lotto each week and the winner gets Xcoins.
Flashing/glowing/rainbow text could be able to be applied to be applied to a post through an item such as strobelight/glow stick/rainbow.
Just a few thouhts I had. |

What the hell made you think this place is like neopets, or that he even got his idea FROM neopets?
don't be stupid. There are other games out there... NEOPETS is a lame copy of everything that is right with the world, and it makes it oh so very wrong. |

Wow, deja vu.
Anyway, I don't care too much for the 'random gain/lose coins'.
Its too much of a gamble. I don't want to lose what little coins I have gained...
Raffle/lotto sounds good.
Rainbow text would make all our eyes hurt. And mine would probably be the most vulnerable, as I have a severe sensitivity towards light.
Seriously, its a medical condition. |

My variation of the things you said:
We get 1-3 coins each day from a random chance everytime we log in and click the random chance link.
Rainbow text is ok for others (I wouldn't use it) but just each letter in a different color. Not flash or anything.
No losing coins.
Lotto: Not a bad idea. |
